A new beginning

As the year comes to an end, it's a great opportunity to reflect on an amazing journey. Throughout the past year, we've experienced a lot of changes and learned a few important lessons along the way.

By far, the most impactful change was in the management of the company, as our co-founder Marcel Croes stepped down. Although his time with Bitized only lasted a couple of years, he remains a dear friend who is always more than welcome to join us in the future.

As the year progressed we also expanded our team by welcoming our newest member Derwin Tromp, a software developer originally from Aruba. In doing so, we've come to realize that we are actively taking steps towards achieving one of our goals.

So, what have we been up to since then? Well, with all the changes we've made in the company, it was a natural next step for us to rebrand. One of the lessons we've learned throughout the years was regarding the importance of design.

Our logo, for example, was in desperate need of a revamp. A simplistic white letter "B" on a black background doesn't necessarily spark creativity. It was time to give our logo the same attention to detail we aim to give our clients.

This initial step in rebranding has prompted us to launch a whole new website, where we will be posting the latest tech news as well as some interesting tips.

As for our plans for 2022, we have some exciting stuff in the works. We're currently working on an easy-to-use application where our clients can access all the vital information regarding their projects.

All in all, what an amazing year it's been for the company. We're excited for what's to come and to take you on this journey with us.
